MUSIC - BASIC INSTRUMENT



1. Musical Notation

Musical Notation is any method by which sounds are written down so that they can be read and performed by others. Notation use a five line stave known as BARS - rests, clefs, key signature, time signature, accidentals.

2. Orchestras

An orchestra is a group of musicians that plays music written for a specific combination of instrument.

3. Woodwind Instruments

Woodwind instrument are wind instrument that are generally made up of wood, although some are made up of metal and plastic. The sound of a woodwind instrument is produced by the vibration of air in a hallow tube.

4.Stringed Instrument 

String instrument produce sound by the vibration of stretched string. This may be done by drawing a bow across the strings, as in the violin; or by plucking the strings, as in the harp and guitar.

5.Guitars  

The guitar is plucked stringed instrument. There are tow type of guitar - acoustic and electric. Acoustic guitar have hallow bodies and six or twelve strings. Electric guitar usually have solid bodies and six strings.

1. Cantilever Bridge (1882) Baker and Fowler accomplish a daring feat of structural engineering. Between 1882 and 1890, construction of the one of the most ambitious engineering projects of the time took place near Edinburgh, Scotland. The project was to create a railway bridge that would span the Firth of Forth, one of Scotland's major tributaies, and connect the northeast and southeast of the country. The men who step forward to take up this challenge were Benjamin Baker (1840-1907) and John Fowler (1817-1898).
